SAP BTP Global Account - Built-in Checks

Here you will find detailed information about Built-in checks for SAP BTP Global Account monitored objects.

Built-in checks are deployed automatically for a monitored object type. Once Avantra has detected a specific monitored object, each of the relevant built-in checks will be auto-deployed to the agent to begin check execution and status reporting. Built-in checks can be configured using Monitoring Parameters (e.g. to set threshold values) and can also be disabled if they are not relevant to your landscape.

BTPConnect

Checks the connection status to, and the entity status of, a BTP Global Account.

BTPGlobalAccountCost

This check lists all consumption costs reported by SAP for all subaccounts in the Global Account.

A daily budget can be set using the monitoring parameters BTPDailyBudgetCrit and BTPDailyBudgetWarn.

The monitoring parameter BTPSmoothingWindowDays determines the number of days to calculate the average costs per day.

This check will return a Warning status if, in the last BTPSmoothingWindowDays days of any month from today, the total cost so far are greater than BTPSmoothingWindowDays multiplied by BTPDailyBudgetWarn.

This check will return a Critical status if, in the last BTPSmoothingWindowDays days of any month from today, the total cost so far are greater than BTPSmoothingWindowDays multiplied by BTPDailyBudgetCrit.

BTPGlobalAccountCredits

Description

This check collects and displays cloud credit balance and usage in each phase for the Global Account.

BTPGlobalAccountUsage

This check is only enabled for BTP Global Accounts that have the Consumption Based field, in the Commercial tab, set to true.

This check collects and displays monthly usage reporting data for a Global Account, with alerting for usage over set thresholds. This check shows technical usage of services, such as GB of memory, rather than direct cost in a currency.

BTPAvantraSelfDeployment

This check allows BTP Administrators to manage a BTP self-deployment by viewing a log of the self-deployment. This log contains all of the successes and failures during self-deployment. Each line will be represented by either OK (if there are no errors) or WARNING (if an error occurs).
